dc.description.abstractThis paper assumes that the Afghan issue has absorbed the dynamics of globalization and vis-à-vis throbbed into the international politics. This paper utilizes the Maximalist approach (Maximalist approach is based on conflict prevention by diagnosing the causes of conflict) to analyze the Afghan conflict in its broader context. This paper intends to discuss the permeating factors of Afghan conflict in its present row of combinations referred to globalization. The factors include: natural resources at the heart of conflict, the predicament of uncertainty, the cultural identity and devaluation of justice and peace values
