| dc.description.abstract | 20. yüzyıldan bu yana roman türü, özellikle Marcel Proust’un À la Recherche du Temps Perdu, James Joyce’un Ulysses, Samuel Beckett’ın Murphy, Ahmet Hamdi Tanpınar’ın Huzur, Joseph Heller’ın Catch-22, Kurt Vonnegut’ın Mother Night, Vladimir Nabokov’un Pale Fire, Oğuz Atay’ın Tutunamayanlar, Thomas Pynchon’ın Gravity's Rainbow ve Orhan Pamuk’un Kara Kitap gibi postmodern anlatılarda farklı versiyonlara dönüştü. Bu açıdan baktığımızda, Türk çağdaş kadın yazarlarından Adalet Ağaoğlu'nun Bir Düğün Gecesi adlı romanı, postmodern bir düğün törenini anlatan postmodern ve absürd bir roman olarak ayrı bir yere sahiptir. Bu makale, Bir Düğün Gecesi (1979)’nde postmodern kültürün düğün törenlerinin bir panoramasını dikkatlere sunuyor. Hayatın kendisi olan bu kurgusal eserde karakterlerin "düğün", "hediye", "dostluk", "akrabalık", "sevgi" ve "aile bağları" gibi kavramlardan ne anladıkları tartışılarak, Absürdizmle çevrili olan "postmodern bir düğün" postmodern bir bakış açısıyla eleştirilip değerlendirilecektir | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Since 20th century the genre of novel has turned into different versions in particularly postmodern narratives as À la Recherche du Temps Perdu (In Search of Lost Time) by Marcel Proust, Ulysses by James Joyce, Murphy by Samuel Beckett, Huzur (A Mind at Peace) by Ahmet Hamdi Tanpınar, Catch-22 by Joseph Heller, Mother Night by Kurt Vonnegut, Pale Fire by Vladimir Nabokov, Tutunamayanlar (Disconnectus Erectus) by Oğuz Atay, Gravity's Rainbow by Thomas Pynchon and Kara Kitap (The Black Book) by Orhan Pamuk. In this respect, the novel named Bir Düğün Gecesi (A Wedding Night, 1979) by Adalet Ağaoğlu, who is one of Turkish contemporary woman writers, also has a different place as a postmodern and absurd novel describing a postmodern wedding ceremony. This article examines snapshots from wedding ceremonies of postmodern culture in A Wedding Night. In this fictional work which is life itself what the characters understand from such concepts such as "wedding," "gift," "friendship," "kinship" "love" and "family bond " will be discussed, and "a postmodern wedding" in the novel will be introduced and evaluated by postmodern critical points of view. | en_US |
