dc.description.abstractGünümüzde teknolojideki ilerleme ve gelişmelerin küresel çapta meydana gelmesi ile bilgi odaklı ürünler ve hizmetler artarak ön plana çıkmakta, bilgi temelli ekonomiler ve ağlar yaygınlaşmaktadır. Hızla değişen ve gelişen bu teknoloji dünyasına kolayca adapte olarak yıllarca ayakta kalabilmeyi başarmış bir şirket olan Google’ın bu başarısının sırrı da merak uyandırmaktadır. Basit bir arama motoru iken, teknoloji devine giden bu süreçte neler yaptıkları, hangi sorunlarla karşılaştıkları, nasıl üstesinden geldikleri merak edilen bir konu olmuştur. Amaç: Bu çalışmada Google’ın kurucuları Schmidt ve Rosenberg’in dilinden, kendi deneyim ve tavsiyelerini aktardıkları“Google Nasıl Yönetiliyor”isimli kitap incelenerek, Google’ın yönetim anlayışı çerçevesinde çağdaş yönetim literatürüne farklı bir bakış açısı sunulmak istenmektedir. Yöntem: Google Nasıl Yönetiliyor?» adlı kitap, içerik yönünden yönetimsel konular açısından analiz edilmiş, belirlenen yönetsel bağlam dahilinde yapılan öznel tespitimize uygun olarak, Google‘ın Kendi Anlatımı Çağdaş Yönetim Literatüründe yer alan görüşlerle açıklanmış/desteklenmiştir.en_US
dc.description.abstractNowadays, with the globalization of the developments and advancement in the technologies, information-oriented products and services are be coming more important, knowledgebased economies and Networks are be coming widespread. The mystery of this success of Google, which is a company that has been able to survive for many years as it adapts easily to rapidly changing and developing world of technology, raises the curiosity.While it was a simple search engine, what they did in this process leading to technology giant, what problems they encountered and how they overcome it was a matter of concern. Aim:In this study, it is aimed to give a different perspective to contemporary management literature within the framework of Google's management approach by reviewing the book “How Google Works ”, which is translated from Google's founders Schmidtand Rosenberg .Method: The book ‘’How Google Works’’ has been analyzed in terms of content and administrative issues ,in accordance with our subjective assessment within the determined managerial context, Google's Self- Expression is explained by the views in the contemporary management literatureen_US
