dc.description.abstractBu çalışmanın amacı yabancı portföy yatırımlarının İstanbul Menkul Kıymetler Borsası (İMKB) 100 Endeksi getirileri üzerindeki etkisini bununla beraber İMKB getirilerinin yabancı yatırımcıların yatırım tercihleri üzerinde etkili olup olmadığını tespit etmektir. Bu amaçla İMKB 100 Endeksi getirisi ile yabancı portföy yatırımlarının getirisi arasındaki ilişki günlük frekansta 5.1.2009 – 31.5.2011 dönemi için incelenmiştir. İlgili ilişkinin yönü Granger (1969) tarafından önerilen Granger Nedensellik Testi ile araştırılmış ve elde edilen sonuca göre regresyon analizi gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışmadan elde edilen sonuçlar İMKB 100 getirisinin yabancı portföy yatırımlarının piyasa değerini tek yönlü olarak etkilediğini ortaya koymaktadır
dc.description.abstractThe aim of this study is to establish whether foreign investors effect ISE 100 returns or ISE returns effect foreign investments. On this context the relationship between ISE returns and market value of foreign investment are investigated on a daily frequency for 5.1.2009 – 31.5.2011 period. Nevertheless the direction of this relation is researched by Granger Causality test which is proposed by Granger (1969). Furthermore Granger causality test results are utilized for regression analysis. The results of this study reveal that ISE 100 returns effects foreign investments
