Sosyal kaygı ile üstbiliş arasındaki ilişkinin özel bir eğitim kurumundaki öğrencilerde incelenmesi

| dc.description.abstract | Sosyal kaygı, kişinin başkaları tarafından değerlendirileceği bir veya birçok sosyal ortamda belirgin bir şekilde kaygı ya da korku duymasıdır. Son dönemlerde yapılan çalışmalarda sosyal kaygıda, üstbilişin önemli olduğu görülmektedir. Üstbiliş; kişinin kendi zihnindeki işlevler ile olayların farkında olması ve bu süreçler üzerindeki aktif kontrolünü kapsayan bir sistemdir (Wells 2009).Bu araştırmada, sosyal kaygı ile üstbiliş arasındaki ilişki, özel bir eğitim kurumdaki öğrenciler ile incelenmektedir. Araştırma, 2017-2018 eğitim yılında, özel bir eğitim kurumundaki 67 kadın, 39 erkek, toplam 106 öğrenci ile yapılmıştır. Katılımcılara Üstbiliş Ölçeği (ÜBÖ-30), Liebowitz Sosyal Kaygı Ölçeği ve Kişisel Bilgi Formu uygulanmıştır. Literatüre katkı sağlamanın amaçlandığı bu çalışmada; Liebowitz kaygı alt ölçeği ile Üstbiliş kontrol edilemezlik ve tehlike alt ölçeği arasında düşük düzeyde, pozitif yönde, anlamlı bir ilişki; Liebowitz kaçınma alt ölçeği ile Üstbiliş olumlu inançlar ve kontrol edilemezlik ve tehlike alt ölçekleri arasında düşük düzeyde, pozitif yönde, anlamlı bir ilişki ve Liebowitz Sosyal Kaygı Ölçeği ile Üstbiliş olumlu inançlar ile kontrol edilemezlik ve tehlike alt ölçekleri arasında düşük düzeyde, pozitif yönlü, anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmuştur. Ayrıca Liebowitz Sosyal Kaygı Ölçeği ile alt ölçekleri olan kaygı ile kaçınmanın, Üstbiliş ölçeği toplam puanı ile ilişkisine bakıldığında düşük düzeyde, pozitif yönlü ve anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmuştur. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Social anxiety is a notable concern or fear occurs in one or more social situations when one is judged by others. In recent studies, it has been found out that metacognition has an important effect on social anxiety. Metacognition is a system that involves one's awareness of functions and scenes of the mind and his active control over these processes (Wells 2009). In this study, the correlation between social anxiety levels and metacognitions levels with students at a private educational institution will be observed. The research was carried out with 67 women and 39 men participants- in total 106- at a private educational institution in the 2017-2018 academic year. The participants were given the metacognitive scale (MCQ-30), Liebewitz Social Anxiety Scale and Personal Information Form to fill in. In this study that aims to contribute to literature; a significant correlation is observed among the anxiety subscale of Liebowitx Social Anxiety Scale, metacognition scale uncontrollability and risk subscale at a low level, in a positive way; and among avoidance subscale, positive beliefs, uncontrollability and risk subscales at a low level in a positive way, and among Liebowitx Social Anxiety Scale, positive beliefs, uncontrollability and risk subscale at a low level positively. Furthermore, when their correlation with the total score of metacognitive scale is taken into consideration, a low level, positive and significant correlation between Liebowitx Social Anxiety Scale and the subscales of anxiety and avoidance was found. | en_US |
