Bahçenin kurulması öncesinde ve sonrasında uygulanan testlere dayandırılan çalışma, Mersin’in Silifke ilçesi Keben Köyü İlköğretim Okulu öğrencileri ve öğretmenleriyle gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışmadan elde edilen bulgular sonucunda ‘’Geometri Bahçesi’’nin matematik eğitimine yaptığı (olumlu) katkılar ‘’Gerçekçi Matematik Eğitimi’’ çerçevesinde değerlendirilmiş ve geleneksel yöntemle yapılan öğretimden ne ölçüde daha etkin olabildiği değerlendirilmiştir
