| dc.description.abstract | Bu çalışma çocuklara İngilizce kelime öğretiminde öğretmene yardım edip etmediğini ve çocukların drama etkinlikleri esnasında eğlenip eğlenmediklerini incelemiştir. Çalışma Mersin'de özel bir okulda 2.sınıf öğrencileri arasında yapıldı. 20 kişilik tek bir sınıf incelendi. Bu çalışmada, araştırmacı gözlem, günlük rapor, video kaydı yaptı ve her ders sonunda öğrencilere ders hakkında ne düşündüklerine dair açık uçlu sorular soruldu. Çalışma 4 hafta sürdü. Her hafta 2 saat Drama Kulübü öğrencileriyle yapılan çalışmada, drama teknikleri yardımıyla kelime öğrenimi incelendi. Eğitim sonrası test ya da sınav yapmak yerine, çocuklar teneffüs ya da bahçe oyunları sırasında yani doğal süreçlerinde gözlemlendi. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | This study examines whether drama helps instructor to teach English vocabulary to young learners and if young learners enjoy learning vocabulary through drama activities. The study was conducted with 2nd grade students in a Private Primary School in Mersin. 20 students took place in this study. The researcher used observation form, daily journal; video recordings and open-ended, follow-up interview questions were asked to each student at the end of every lesson. It took 4 weeks to implement the study. It addressed teaching vocabulary through drama with the drama club students for two hours every week. No post-tests or quiz were applied to the students. They were observed in their natural learning process, instead. | en_US |
