After creating various combinations of relationships between the behavioral manifestations of shame and guilt and the sub-dimensions of self-monitoring, these relationships are tested with data obtained from lower level managers in a public bank in Turkey. Results show that there are positive relationships between these constructs. The implications of these findings for understanding moral emotions and self-monitoring were also considered, along with some potential applications.eninfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessBusiness ethicsGuiltMoral EmotionsSelf-MonitoringShameMoral emotions and self-monitoringArticle1901.Feb1151252-s2.0-378491855827692310.21773/boun.19.1.7Q4
