Özet
Bu çalışma Muş Alparslan Üniversitesi öğrencilerinin edim bilim ile ilgili algıları ve öğrencilerin edim bilim yeterlilik seviyelerini araştırmayı amaçlamıştır. Bu amaca ulaşmak için nicel bir araştırma yöntemi uygulanmıştır. 130 üniversite öğrencisi bu çalışmada yer almıştır. Veriler bir anket aracılığıyla toplanmıştır. Çalışmanın sonuçları Muş Alparslan Üniversitesi öğrencilerinin edim bilim bilgisinin en az dilbilimsel bilgi kadar önemli olduğuna inandıklarını gösterdi. MAÜ öğrencilerinin edim bilimle ilgili olumlu tutumlarına rağmen sonuçlar edim bilim yeterliliklerinin sınırlı olduğunu göstermektedir.
The aim of this study is to investigate the perceptions of Muş Alparslan University students on pragmatics and their level of pragmatic competence. For the purpose of the study a quantitative research method was carried out. The 130 university students were participated in this study. Data were collected my mean of a questionnaire. According to the results of the study the students believed the pragmatic knowledge was as important as linguistic knowledge in language learning process. Although MAU students have positive attitudes towards the pragmatics, the results indicated that the students have limited pragmatic knowledge.
