Türkiye'de Sürdürülebilirlik Konusunda Yazılan Lisansüstü Tezlerin İçerik Analizi ile İncelenmesi

Özet
Amaç: Yüksek Öğretim Kurumu’nun Ulusal Tez Merkezi (YÖKTEZ)’deki lisansüstü tezleri çeşitli başlıklar altında inceleyen bu çalışma ile Sürdürülebilirlik alanındaki yazına dair genel bir bakış açısı sunmak amaçlanmıştır. Tasarım: Nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden biri olan içerik analizi yöntemi aracılığıyla YÖKTEZ’de ‘İşletme Yönetimi’ alanında ve ‘sürdürülebilirlik’ konusundaki erişime açık 107 yüksek lisans ve 37 doktora tezi incelenmiştir. Bulgular: Bu çalışma kapsamında elde edilen sonuçlar doğrultusunda sürdürülebilirlik alanındaki tezlerin 2019 yılında sayısının arttığı, en fazla ‘Sürdürülebilir Kalkınma, Sürdürülebilirlik ve Borsa İstanbul’ anahtar kelimelerine yer verildiği görülmüştür. Ayrıca, çoğunlukla tesadüfi olmayan örnekleme türlerinden yararlanıldığı, sıklıkla ikincil veri toplama aracı kullanıldığı ve en çok içerik analiz yönteminden yararlanıldığı ortaya konmuştur. Araştırmanın Sınırlamaları: Tezlere belirli bir tarihte erişilmiş olması araştırmanın en büyük kısıtıdır. Ayrıca bu araştırma lisansüstü tezleri yıl, anahtar kelime, örnekleme türü, veri toplama araçları ve analiz yöntemi başlıkları altında incelemesiyle sınırlıdır. Özgünlük: Sürdürülebilirlik konusundaki lisansüstü tezler hakkında genel bir bakış açısının ortaya konduğu bu çalışmanın gelecekte bu konuda çalışacak olan öğrenci ve akademisyenlere güncel bilgiler sunacağı düşünülmektedir.
Purpose: With this study, which examines the postgraduate theses in the National Thesis Center of the Higher Education Institution (YÖKTEZ) under various titles, it is aimed to present a general perspective on the literature in the field of Sustainability. Methodology: Through the content analysis method, which is one of the qualitative research methods, 107 Master's and 37 Doctoral theses, which are open to access, in the field of 'Business Management' and subject of 'sustainability' in YÖKTEZ were examined. Findings: In line with the results obtained within the scope of this study, it was observed that the number of theses in the field of sustainability increased in 2019 and the keywords "Sustainable Development, Sustainability and Borsa Istanbul" were used the most. In addition, it has been revealed that mostly non-random sampling types are used, secondary data collection tool is frequently used, and content analysis method is mostly used. Limitations of the Research: Accessing the theses on a certain date is the biggest limitation of the research. In addition, this research is limited to examining postgraduate theses under the titles of year, keyword, sampling type, data collection tools and analysis method. Originality: It is thought that this study, which presents an overview of postgraduate theses on sustainability, will provide up-to-date information to students and academics who will work on this subject in the future.
