Özet
Bu çalışmada ulaştırma altyapısı ile ekonomik büyüme arasındaki ilişki araştırılmıştır. Çalışmada, 51 ülkenin 1990–2009 dönemine ilişkin beşer yıllık ortalama verileri kullanılarak panel veri analizi yapılmıştır. Çalışmada ulaşılan bulgulara göre, ulaştırma altyapısının ekonomik büyüme üzerinde, teoride öngörüldüğü gibi, pozitif ve istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir etkisi vardır. Bu etki gelişmekte olan ülkelerde daha güçlüdür. Bu da ulaştırma altyapısının ekonomik büyüme ve kalkınma süreci açısından gelişmekte olan ülkelerde önemli bir rol oynadığını göstermektedir
In this study, the relationship between transport infrastructure and economic growth is examined. Panel data analysis is conducted, using five years average data for 51 countries on the period of 1990-2009. According to the findings reached in the study, transport infrastructure, as stated in the theory, has a positive and statistically significant impact on economic growth. This impact is stronger in the developing countries.Therefore; result proves the transport infrastructure plays an important role in developing countries for economic growth and development process
