Özet
Romantik ilişkilerde yaşanan istismar en genel anlamda duygusal beraberliği olan çiftlerin birbirlerine karşı fiziksel, psikolojik ve cinsel anlamda baskı yoluyla güç ve kontrol sağlamasıdır. Romantik ilişkilerde yaşanan çeşitli problemler bireylerin benlik saygısı düzeylerini etkilemektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, okul psikolojik danışmanlarının romantik ilişkilerindeki duygusal istismar düzeyleri ile benlik saygıları arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemektir. Araştırmada okul psikolojik danışmanlarının romantik ilişkilerindeki duygusal istismar düzeyleri ile benlik saygıları arasındaki ilişkileri incelemek amacıyla, ilişkisel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırma nicel araştırma deseninde hazırlanmıştır. Çalışma grubunu Adana İlinde görev yapmakta olan yaşları 25-55 (ortalama: 35,9± 6,9), arasında değişen 121 kadın ve 83 erkek olmak üzere toplam 204 okul psikolojik danışmanı oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın verilerini toplamada, araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan Kişisel Bilgi Formu, Çok Boyutlu Duygusal İstismar Ölçeği ve İki Boyutlu Benlik Saygısı Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Veriler, ilgili çevrimiçi kaynaklar aracılığıyla toplanmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında elde edilen veriler SPSS 22.0 paket programı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Duygusal İstismar ölçeği alt ölçekleri ile kendini sevme değişkeni arasında orta düzeyde istatistiksel ilişki bulunmuştur. Duygusal istismar alt ölçekleri ve psikolojik yardım değişkenleri ile özyeterlik puanları arasında orta düzeyde istatistiksel ilişki bulunmuştur. Duygusal istismar alt ölçekleri ve psikiyatrik tanıya sahip olma değişkenleri ile özyeterlik puanları arasında orta düzeyde istatistiksel ilişki bulunmuştur. Çalışma sonucunda elde edilen bulgulara göre duygusal istismara maruz kalma ve uygulamanın kendini sevme üzerinde anlamlı birer yordayıcı olduğu saptanmıştır. Duygusal istismara maruz kalma ve uygulama, psikolojik yardım alma durumu değişkenlerinin özyeterlik üzerinde anlamlı bir yordayıcı olduğu saptanmıştır. Uygulama aşağılama maruz kalma aşağılama değişkenlerinin benlik saygısı üzerinde anlamlı bir yordayıcı olduğu saptanmıştır.
Abuse in romantic relationships is, in the most general sense, the power and control of couples who are in emotional togetherness against each other through physical, psychological and sexual pressure. Various problems experienced in romantic relationships affect the self-esteem levels of individuals. The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between emotional abuse levels in romantic relationships of school counselors and their self-esteem. In the research, relational screening model was used to examine the relationship between emotional abuse levels in romantic relationships of school counselors and their self-esteem. The research was prepared in a quantitative research design. The study group consists of 204 school counselors, 121 women and 83 men, aged between 25-55 (mean: 35.9± 6.9) working in Adana Province. Personal Information Form, Multidimensional Emotional Abuse Scale and Two-Dimensional Self-Esteem Scale prepared by the researcher were used to collect the data of the study. Data were collected through relevant online resources. The data obtained within the scope of the research were analyzed using the SPSS 22.0 package program. A moderate statistical relationship was found between the Emotional Abuse Scale subscales and the variable of self-love. A moderate statistical relationship was found between emotional abuse subscales and psychological help variables and self-efficacy scores. A moderate statistical relationship was found between the emotional abuse subscales and the variables of having a psychiatric diagnosis and self-efficacy scores. According to the findings obtained as a result of the study, it was determined that exposure to emotional abuse and practice were significant predictors of self-love. It has been determined that the variables of being exposed to emotional abuse and application, and receiving psychological help are a significant predictor of self-efficacy. It was determined that the variables of practice, humiliation, and humiliation were a significant predictor of self-esteem.
