Özet
Bu çalışma, gelişmekte olan Türkiye'nin ülke gruplarına göre ithalat ve ihracatının kümeleme analizi ile incelenmesini amaçlamaktadır. Küreselleşme ve uluslararası ticaretin giderek önem kazandığı günümüzde, ülkelerin ticaret ilişkilerini anlamak ve analiz etmek, ekonomik politikaların belirlenmesi ve stratejilerin oluşturulması açısından kritik bir öneme sahiptir. Bu çalışma için, Türkiye'nin ticaret verileri ve beş (5) ayrı ülke gruplarına ayrılmış dış ticaret verileri kullanılmıştır. 2013-2022 dönemine ait ithalat ve ihracat veri setleri, Türkiye İstatistik Kurumu’ndan (TUİK) elde edilmiştir. Çalışmanın amacına göre; k-ortalamalar yönteminden yararlanılmıştır. Analiz sonuçlarına göre; Türkiye'nin belirli ülke gruplarıyla olan ticaret ilişkilerinde iki ayrı grup elde edilmiş ve hem ihracatta hem de ithalatta gruplar benzer özelikler göstermiştir. Avrupa Birliği ve OECD Ülkeleri 2. grupta, EFTA, Karadeniz Ekonomik İş Birliği ve Ekonomik İş Birliği Teşkilatı 1. grupta yer almaktadır.
This study aims to analyze the imports and exports of developing Turkey by country groups using cluster analysis. In today's world, where globalization and international trade are gaining importance, understanding and analyzing the trade relations of countries has a critical importance in terms of determining economic policies and forming strategies. For this study, Turkey's trade data and foreign trade data divided into five (5) separate country groups were used. Import and export data sets for the period 2013-2022 were obtained from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK). According to the purpose of the study; The k-means method was used. According to the analysis results; Two separate groups were obtained in Turkey's trade relations with certain country groups, and the groups showed similar characteristics in both exports and imports. European Union and OECD Countries are in group 1, EFTA, Black Sea Economic Cooperation and Economic Cooperation Organization are in group 2.
