The purpose of this study is to explore the role of human resource management (HRM) practices, job
satisfaction and organizational commitment intentions of employees working in Turkish private
organizations. A total of 200 employees participated in the study. The results indicate that there is a
positive relationship between HRM practices(recruitment and selection, training and development,
compensation and benefits, performance appraisals) and job satisfaction and organizational
commitment. The sub factor compensation and benefitsare the most importantfactors which affect
the job satisfaction and organizational commitment.
