dc.description.abstract | This study offers a set of relationships between self-monitoring and two moral emotions: shame and guilt. After creating various combinations of relationships between the behavioral manifestations of shame and guilt and the sub-dimensions of self-monitoring, these relationships are tested with data obtained from lower level managers in a public bank in Turkey. Results show that there are positive relationships between these constructs. The implications of these findings for understanding moral emotions and self-monitoring were also considered, along with some potential applications. | en_US |
