dc.description.abstract | Today, renewable energy sources which are important substitutes for nonrenewable energy sources can be converted into the electrical power using some effective processes of recycling. Although Turkey is a country with rather high potential of solar energy, it has yet facilities well below of required establishment levels when it is compared to the examples in the world. The demands for applications of solar energy within renewable energy sources have been increasing gradually. The results obtained from averages of long years in Turkey show that an average of 2.58% loss of output is encountered for in efficiencies of panels. Therefore, it can be understood clearly that the most convenient region for averages of environmental temperatures on panel efficiencies is the Eastern Anatolia region. Turkey takes its place, with its average insulation period of 2640 h yearly, within the countries which have a potential of solar energy to be used efficiently. The temperature factor comes out being after the solar rays striking on solar panels are absorbed, and this factor affects the efficiency of panels. In this study, the losses those may occur as a result of temperature differences in dissimilar regions of Turkey on the efficiency of solar panels have been investigated, and some suggestions have been developed so that the losses on electrical systems to be established for that purpose can be decreased to the minimum levels. © Sila Science. | en_US |
